Established in 2003 as an independent center for mathematical sciences, the school is affiliated with the Government College University, Lahore. Abdus Salam School of Mathematical Sciences (AS-SMS) has rapidly evolved into a center of excellence for research.
Abdus Salam School of Mathematical Sciences offers full time MPhil and PhD programs in Mathematics. The School aspires to be a center of excellence in mathematical sciences carrying out cutting edge research which pushes the frontiers of knowledge.
